A native of Washington, D.C., Jeremy David White is a human being as well as a filmmaker. Jeremy received his M.F.A. from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. His award-winning short film, THE FIRST HOPE — a coming of age story about a young boy who watches Luke and Leia’s kiss in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and develops an inappropriate crush of his own — continues to receive accolades at film festivals across the world.
Jeremy’s work as a director also includes a collaboration with James Franco and Rabbit Bandini Productions on an adaptation of THE HEYDAY OF THE INSENSITIVE BASTARDS based on the novella by Robert Boswell, expected to premiere in 2015. As a producer, Jeremy developed the feature documentary MUDBLOODS, a film about the real-life sport of quidditch, released in the fall of 2014 by BOND/ 360. ENHANCED is Jeremy’s most recent original short film, starring Timm Sharp.
Jeremy is currently developing his feature film debut, THE MODERN AGE. He lives in Los Angeles where he continues to write and direct both narrative and documentary film.
