A native of Washington, D.C., Jeremy David White is a human being as well as a filmmaker. A student in History and Journalism at Emory University, Jeremy received his M.F.A. from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. His award-winning short film THE FIRST HOPE — a coming of age story about a young boy who watches Luke and Leia’s kiss in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and develops an inappropriate crush of his own — has received accolades at film festivals across the world. Jeremy’s original science fiction film ENHANCED, starring Timm Sharp (‘Enlightened,’ ‘Blunt Talk’) was awarded Best Director at the 2015 Fantastic Fest.
Jeremy’s work as a director also includes a collaboration with James Franco and Rabbit Bandini Productions on an adaptation of THE HEYDAY OF THE INSENSITIVE BASTARDS based on the novella by Robert Boswell. As a producer Jeremy most recently developed the feature documentary MUDBLOODS, a film about the real-life sport of quidditch, which was released in 2014 by BOND/ 360.
Jeremy lives in Los Angeles where he writes and develops documentary as a Story Producer for VICE Media.
Currently, Jeremy is developing his feature film debut THE MODERN AGE.
